National Power Training Institute (NPTI) One year post diploma course in thermal power plant engineering 2015-16
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for One year diploma in thermal power plant engineering for year 2015-16 session. the main aim of the course is to develop pool of technically trained manpower readily available fo recruitment to the Indian power sector. the course is a value addition to diploma holders engineers and improves their skills and efficiency in power sector.
Course
The course is of one year (2 semester) and covers all aspects of operations and maintenance of thermal Power Plants and includes 2 weeks simultaneous training at Faridabad/Nagpur as per guidelines of CEA . Formal coaching shall be held at the regional institute of NPTI Durgapur (West Bengal)
Eligibility
Passed three year diploma in Mechincal/Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electrical and Electronics from a recognised technical board of the state or central Govt. There is no minimum % marks limit. Graduate engineers are not eligible.
Age Limit
No age limit for sponsored and Non sponsored candidates
Seats : Total 72 seats.
