Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2015

The Irish Research Council has opened the 2015 call for the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme ( including associated strategic partner scholarships) and the Enterprise Partnership Scholarship Scheme. The council funds excellent researchers across all disciplines and encourages interdisciplinary research and engagement with enterprise. the council facilitate the career development of researchers by funding those at an early stage of their research career to associate with established research teams who have achieved international recognition for their work.

Eligibility

The scholars must be full-time students affiliated with an eligible HEI in Ireland.

You must have first class or upper second class honours primary degree or the equivalant.

You must not have applied more than once to the scheme.

Duration :

For structured research master degree : 24 months

for traditional doctoral degree : 36 months

For Structural doctoral degree : 48 months

Details :

The total value of the scholarship will be upto maximum of euro 24,000/- in any approved year and will consist of a maintenance award of 16,000/- per annum

Contribution to fees including non EU scholarship fees paid to the HEI upto maximum of 5750/-

Volvo Group Scholarship in Sweden for Indian Students

Applications are invited for Volvo Group scholarships available for the citizens of India in Sweden. Upto four scholarships are awarded for two years master's programmes.

Description: Four Scholarships would be awarded to citizens of India

Selection :
The selection is based on the applicants' relative academic excellence, which primarily includes weighted average grade but also home university´s stature (including position on global ranking lists) and priority order of the application for Chalmers Master´s programmes.

Field of Study :
Applicants to the following Master's Programmes are eligible to apply for the scholarship:

Available to 

First year applicants to the above Master's Programmes who are citizens of the  Republic of India that are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education.

Ghent University Belgium Scholarship for master's degree 2015

Ghent University Belgium is offering scholarship to meritorious students who want to study in Belgium.

The Scholarship
Ghent University provides Master Grants to candidates from developing countries who wish to obtain a master’s degree at Ghent University. They are awarded for the duration of the studies with a maximum of 2 years. In case of a two-year-programme the scholarship will only be paid for the full term if the student successfully completes the first year of the programme. The scholarship consists of an insurance, an allowance of 1000 euro per month, an installation fee of 500€ and a refund of the yearly tuition fee with a maximum of 105€.
The scholarship is available for following courses.
International Master of Science in Rural Development
International Master of Science in Environmental Technology and Engineering
International Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering
LLM in International and European Law

There are different procedures according to what kind of applicant you are. The procedures are explained below. The selection date is the 28th of May 2015. Results will be communicated in the first week of june 2015.

Principal's Indian Masters Scholarship in UK 2015

If you are interested in studying in UK then one of the best university of the world,  Edinburgh university can be your destination. 

The University of Edinburgh will offer 12 Masters scholarships for students from India for postgraduate Masters study in any subject offered by the University for the 2015-2016 academic session.

Each scholarship will have a value of £3,000 each and will be tenable for one academic year.

Eligibility

The scholarship is available for those Indian students who have been admitted to the university for full time post graduate course. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. Preference will be given to candidates who have not already had the opportunity to study in Scotland.

Selection criteria 

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree. Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.

Selection Process

A Selection Committee will meet in May 2015 to select the scholarship holders. The winners of the scholarships will be announced in early June 2015.

VEDA Gyan Jyoti Scholarship 2015

Visual Element Design Academy (VEDA) is offering Gyanjyoti scholarship for Indian students pursuing degree (HSc/UG/PG) in academic year 2014-15 from a Government funded/recognised school/college. 

The Scholarship

The objective of this scholarship is to help meritorious students from financially weaker backgrounds by support a part of their college fees and give them a chance to pursue academic and professional courses in their respective colleges under any H.Sc. /UG / PG with any discipline.

Under this scheme a corps of Rs. 5,00,000/- (five lakh) is established to help selected candidates for the year 2014-15.

Eligibility

• The candidate should be Indian resident.Pursing degree (HSc./UG/PG) in academic year 2014-15 from a govt. funded/recognised school/college.
