The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), situated in Allahabad (UP), is scheduled to conduct a preliminary examination as a part of the recruitment process for Group-A non-gazetted Assistant Town Planner (ATP) positions. This preliminary examination is a crucial component of the 2023 Assistant Town Planner Recruitment Examination. Its primary objective is to identify eligible candidates for entry into the Assistant Town Planner Examination (Main) in 2023.

Introduction 

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC), headquartered in Prayagraj, is inviting online applications, following the prescribed format, for Government Job positions in the Urban Development Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is set to conduct the UPPSC Staff Nurse Recruitment Examination 2023 and is extending an invitation to prospective candidates to apply for the position of Staff Nurse within UP. As part of the recruitment process for Group-B non-gazetted staff nurse positions, UPPSC will conduct a preliminary examination. 

Introduction 

The key purpose of this preliminary examination is to determine qualified candidates for inclusion in the UPPSC Staff Nurse Recruitment Examination (Main) 2023. The final selection of candidates will be determined by their cumulative scores achieved in the Main (written) examination and the subsequent interview. Eligibility Criteria 

Age: Candidates should be between 20 and 30 years of age as of August 1, 2023. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Qualification: The qualification requirements for each Specialist Cadre vacancy are as follows and must be from a University recognized by the Government of India:
  • Information Technology Officer (Scale-I): There are 120 vacancies for this position. Qualifications include a 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree in fields like Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation. Alternatively, candidates can hold a Post-Graduate Degree in related fields or be a Graduate with DOEACC 'B' level.
  • Agriculture Field Officer (Scale-I): There are 500 vacancies. Candidates should have a 4-year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fishery Science, and related fields.
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari (Hindi) Officer (Scale-I): There are 41 vacancies. Qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level or a Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.\
  • Law Officer (Scale-I): There are 16 vacancies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) and should be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council.
  • HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale-I): There are 31 vacancies. Qualifications include a Graduate degree and Two Years Full-time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full-time Post Graduate Diploma in fields like Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HR, HRD, Social Work, or Labour Law.
  • Marketing Officer (Scale-I): There are 700 vacancies. Candidates should have a Graduate degree and Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing), Two Years Full-time MBA (Marketing), Two Years Full-time PGDBA, PGDBM, PGPM, or PGDM with specialization in Marketing.

Online Preliminary Examination will be conducted on 30/12/2023 and 31/12/2023 only. The online Main Examination will be conducted on 28/01/2024.

Method of Selection
The selection methodology will comprise a three-stage process – Written Test (two papers), Skill Test (if required), Group Discussion & Personal Interview followed by Medical Examination in Executive/Technical category.

Written Test
The written test will consist of two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day in the same centre). 
Paper-I will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions, bilingual Hindi/English), on General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and/ knowledge of the discipline/trade. There will be a total of 120 questions, each carrying equal marks. There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The Paper-I shall be of 1.5 hours duration.

Paper-II will consist of objective type questions on General English to judge the knowledge of English language. There will be a total of 60 questions, each carrying equal marks. There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. The Paper-II shall be of 45 minutes’ duration.
Candidates who qualify in Paper-I and rank high on the merit list within the zone of consideration, as decided by the DMRC, will only be evaluated for Paper-II. Successful candidates based on the Written Test (Both Paper-I & Paper-II put together) shall be called for Personal Interview/GD/skill
test, at Delhi/NCR.  

Fee
A fee of Rs 400/- for unreserved persons and Rs 50/- for reserved category candidates would be charged through bank challan.

Candidates have to apply online. Before applying candidates should have an active email id if the email id is not active then he should first get new email id and then start the registartion process. After registration on challan would be printed and he has to submit the required fee.
